Project Overview
This redesign enhances usability, visual storytelling, and brand consistency for Brattle Theatre. It improves navigation, accessibility, and ticket booking, while modernizing the site’s aesthetics. Future expansions include an education course page and an online shop to enrich user engagement.
My Reflection
Balanced storytelling and usability
Through this project, I deepened my understanding of content hierarchy, responsive design, and how to guide users through discovery-based experiences. I explored how to balance modern design patterns with the theater’s vintage identity, ensuring that every interaction supported both functionality and emotional resonance.
Strengthened UX communication
It also strengthened my ability to communicate ideas through wireframes, visual prototypes, and stakeholder presentations — reminding me that effective UX is not just about visual polish, but about how well a design speaks to the heart of the brand and serves the needs of the community.
